"Are you sure about this?" A man asked a woman.
The woman, holding a furry, dark, little creature in her arms, replied, "I'll love her like my own daughter."
The creature purred meekly, enjoying every gentle stroke the woman gave. Every night before that day, the creature huddled together with the others of its kind to keep themselves warm in an unforgiving iron cage. But that night, everything would change.
"Sure, we'll do it."
The woman sensed a hint of hesitation from the man's voice. "There is something you haven't told me."
